For my beloved Mother Varda
This time I want to tell you about my beloved mother whose name is Varda , which in English means Rose . She was beautiful like a rose and had been one of the most creative ladies You would ever meet.
My love for roses and for creativity must have come from her , I too can’t let my hands rest ,and always for the search of making more and more creations. I will show you here one of her handmade lace that she used to make without even using a chart , all by heart,,,, I don’t know , maybe my love for vintage laces also came from her . My web site is named after her http://www.vardasroselacecottage.com/ , and it’s for her commemoration

Well ,this is the first time I am blogging , so you will have to be patient with me , I want to share my interests in arts and crafts and display my creatiosns with other artists all over the world and interact with them , I would like to hear your opinion.....
here is a close look of a decorative pillow embellished with silk ribbon embroiderd roses.
All things that I love must be filled with Roses.
My mother's name Varda means Rose in Hebrew.
And she indeed looked like a Rose , as beautiful as all roses are.
Later I will show you laces that she made.
